The most exotic places in Paris
Far from the traditional Haussmann architecture, discover these places in the heart of Paris, which will teleport you to the 4 corners of the world.
Let’s go and discover the city as you’ve never seen it before!
The Great Gallery of Evolution
Located in the heart of the Jardin des Plantes, this gallery belongs to a museum that we’re particularly fond of: the Paris Museum of Natural History.
Populated by mammals, birds and fish of all kinds, this gallery recounts the great adventure of biodiversity through the centuries.
Under a 1,000 m2 glass roof, you’ll stroll through a bestiary of over 300,000 naturalized animals.
Animal cries, buzzing insects, subdued lighting… the magic of the place created by Jules André in 1889 remains intact. It’s the kind of outing that appeals to children and parents alike!
Ps: don’t miss the room devoted to extinct and endangered animals.

La Grande Mosquée
After your stroll among the dinosaurs and giraffes, why not take advantage of your visit to the heart of the Latin Quarter to drop in for a hot cup of tea at the Grande Mosquée de Paris.
Arcades, arabesques, mosaics… this decor inspired by the Alhambra in Granada welcomes you between palm and lemon trees to enjoy mint tea, loukoum and other oriental pastries in the heart of its secret patio…
For those wishing to continue their journey to the Orient, the Mosque also offers traditional massages in its Hammam.

Chinatown
Still in the south-east of Paris, this time we’re taking you to Chinatown!
If you’re in the mood for pho or a good bobun, you’ve definitely come to the right place! Here, as in China, you can eat at almost any time. In the midst of restaurants and shops of all kinds, let yourself be guided by the colors and smells that surround you: spices, Chinese herb shops, rotisseries, incense…
When it comes to culinary shopping, local connoisseurs are particularly fond of the Tang Frères supermarket. Here, you’ll find the most typical Asian specialties: from the most bizarre, unheard-of vegetables to the most traditional dishes. For tea lovers, we recommend “L’Empire des Thés”, a veritable embassy of Chinese tea, offering no fewer than 200 varieties!

Did you say Notting Hill? No, you’re still in Paris, next to the Gare de Lyon! Pedestrianized and covered with cobblestones, this pretty street with its flowery sidewalks and colorful facades takes you for a stroll right through London. 35 small terraced houses built over 2 storeys will give you the impression of having crossed the English Channel.

The Japanese Garden of the Buddhist Pantheon
The Buddhist Pantheon garden is a little green Japanese treasure that only the initiated know about! It’s behind the Musée Guimet that we discover this little hidden treasure, transporting us straight to Japan.
The lapping of the water, the soothing shade of the giant bamboos and the rustling of the leaves in the wind make this garden a totally unspoilt space for relaxation. To think you’re just a few steps from the bustling Place du Trocadéro!

The Louvre Pyramid
To round off our world tour, this time we’re heading straight for Egypt, with the famous Louvre Pyramid just a 5-minute walk from the hotel! With its very modern look, based on the proportions of the Pyramid of Cheops, the Louvre caused quite a stir when it arrived in the capital in 1989!
Today, as the world’s most visited museum, it has become one of Paris’s must-see attractions.
