4 reasons to visit Paris this summer!

Paris in summer oscillates between tranquility, thanks to the Parisians having deserted the city; and the excitement of all the activities offered by the city during this period.
Festivals, the banks of the Seine transformed for the summer, green parks, sales… It is a very pleasant time to visit or revisit the city.
Quick, we’ll tell you why!

Enjoy the parks and quays of the Seine

It’s sunny, it’s hot and you feel like lounging in the sun? Trust us, we know what you’re after!
For this, there is nothing like a little trip to the Palais-Royal garden, only 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel, or to the Tuileries Garden, also 10 minutes’ walk away, to sit in a green armchair around its large octagonal pool.
For the others, who prefer walking as a means to chill out, go for a little walk on the quays of the Seine; landscaped and pedestrianized, they offer a very pleasant summer stroll.
Stretching from the Pont des Arts to the Eiffel Tower on the left bank and from the Léopold-Sédar-Senghor footbridge to the Bastille on the right bank, this is THE place to enjoy Paris at the height of summer.

The sales!

Summer is also the perfect time to enjoy the sales in Paris.

From the beginning of July to the end of August, the summer sales allow you to make savings ranging from 30 to 70% compared to the usual prices.

With Galeries Lafayette only a few steps from the hotel, you can enjoy all the latest Parisian fashion at discounted prices. A little advice, plan on leaving some extra room in your suitcase!

Feel the sand between your toes, even in Paris!

Every summer, the banks of the Seine are transformed into a seaside resort,
giving you the opportunity to enjoy free relaxation areas along the Seine. Fresh lawns, parasols, sand, deckchairs, swimming: everything has been designed to help you make the most of the beautiful days. What could be better after a day of sightseeing or a shopping trip than to cool off with an ice cream and a splish splash?

Enjoy the liveliness and tranquility of Paris in the middle of summer

In the summer, many Parisians leave the city to go on long vacations, leaving Paris with a welcome sense of calm and tranquility. Public transport and the streets of the center are less congested and cars are less common in the streets of Paris.
On the other hand, it is also the time of year when life is in full swing, thanks to the numerous outdoor music festivals, organized from mid-June to late August. Between the Fête de la Musique (Music Day) in June, the Paris Jazz Festival and Rock en Seine, you can enjoy outdoor music if you feel like it!
As for movie fans, you can enjoy watching screenings from your deckchair, on the lawns of the Parc de La Villette.
